Rainbow Angel— Ni

Inspiration
Since the spectacular debut of Rainbow Angel at its exhibition in Hong Kong in 2010, the foundation for the XIQI ART brand was set in motion.
Serving as the most iconic image in XIQI ART's history, the angel originated from renowned contemporary artist Qu Guangci’s original art piece, specifically derived from his signature "Little Chubby" figure. Combining Western angelic wings with an Eastern visage, XIQI's Angel embodies a cultural fusion of East and West, conveying blessings and emotions uniquely resonant within the Chinese context.
Simultaneously, artist Qu Guangci drew inspiration from ancient Chinese literature: "Double rainbows are distinguished by their colors; the vivid one is male, called 'Hong' (Iris), and the pale one is female, called 'Lu' (Ni)." Consequently, the female Rainbow Angel was named "Ni," featuring color inspiration drawn from the delicate pastel shades of Italian gelato. Her gentle hues are reminiscent of sweetness that "pleases the eyes and warms the heart," mirroring the pure, tranquil, and tender happiness that Angel Ni protects for you.
