创作灵感 Inspiration

自2010年《彩虹天使》在香港惊艳亮相，便开启了稀奇艺术品牌的旅程。

作为稀奇最重要的IP，“天使”形象源自艺术家瞿广慈标志性的“小胖人”，拥有西方的翅膀与东方的面孔，融合中西文化，传递中国语境中的祝福与情感。

“男天使”名为“虹”，灵感来自“虹双出色”的古语，正如彩虹所象征希望与美好，愿以明亮的多巴胺色彩，为生活注入快乐能量。

本作品由稀奇艺术携手拥有三百年历史的德国梅森瓷器联名呈现，造型取自经典雕塑《彩虹天使－虹》，装饰图案选自生物学家兼画家Maria Sibylla Merian的手绘植物与昆虫，象征欢乐、幸福与宁静。

这些纯手绘写实的昆虫植物图案，与中国花鸟的美学意境有异曲同工之妙，与《彩虹天使》一样完美融合了东西方文化与美学，由此创作出了这件《欢乐天使》十分独特的魅力。

Since its stunning debut in Hong Kong in 2010, the Rainbow Angel marked the beginning of the journey for XIQI ART.

As XIQI’s most iconic IP, the “Angel” originates from artist Qu Guangci’s signature “little chubby figure,” blending Western angel wings with an Eastern face. This fusion of East and West conveys blessings and emotions rooted in the Chinese cultural context.

The male angel is named “Hong” (iris), inspired by the ancient phrase “虹双出色,” symbolizing hope and beauty. With its vibrant, dopamine-charged colors, it brings joyful energy into everyday life.

This collaborative piece is co-created by XIQI ART and Meissen, the oldest porcelain brand in Europe with a history of over 300 years. The sculpture is based on the classic Rainbow Angel – Hong, adorned with hand-painted plants and insects drawn from works by biologist and artist Maria Sibylla Merian, symbolizing joy, happiness, and serenity.

These meticulously hand-painted motifs echo the aesthetic spirit of traditional Chinese bird-and-flower painting. Like the Rainbow Angel, this artwork seamlessly unites Eastern and Western cultures, giving birth to the uniquely captivating Angel of Joy.

德国 Meissen（麦森）瓷器是欧洲最早的陶瓷厂，被誉为“欧洲第一名瓷”，亦是最具贵族气息的瓷器品牌之一。

早在13世纪，欧洲贵族便将中国瓷器视为珍宝。萨克森选帝侯奥古斯特大帝甚至曾用一队骑兵换得48件中国花瓶。为仿制中国瓷器，他召集化学家贝特格，最终于1708年成功烧制出白而透明的瓷器，并于1710年创立Meissen国立瓷器制造厂。

此后，Meissen风格深刻影响了整个欧洲瓷器发展。300年来，Meissen瓷器代表着欧洲艺术史的传承，每件作品皆由工匠手工制作、秘方调色，彩绘与造型师皆历经多年训练。至今，Meissen依然是世界顶级瓷器制造商及德国珍贵的文化遗产。

Meissen porcelain, founded in 1710, is the oldest porcelain manufactory in Europe and is renowned as the "First Porcelain of Europe." It is also considered one of the most aristocratic porcelain brands in the West.

As early as the 13th century, European nobility regarded Chinese porcelain as a treasure. Augustus the Strong, Elector of Saxony, once exchanged an entire cavalry unit for 48 Chinese vases. Determined to replicate Chinese porcelain, he commissioned chemist Johann Friedrich Böttger, who in 1708 successfully developed a white, translucent porcelain. This led to the establishment of the Meissen State Porcelain Manufactory in 1710.

For centuries, Meissen’s style influenced porcelain making across Europe. Each piece reflects over 300 years of European art history, meticulously handcrafted with secret color formulas. Its painters and sculptors undergo decades of artistic and technical training. Today, Meissen remains one of the world’s top porcelain manufacturers and a treasured cultural heritage of Germany.

瞿广慈

作为中国艺术界含金量最高的奖项——每五年一次的第八届全国美展大奖，有史以来最年轻的获得者，瞿广慈从90年代走出学院的大门，到在全世界受邀参展的不到十年间，便以其才华横溢的“革命的浪漫主义”、“集体主义”等系列作品为代表，成为了中国当代艺术中最有影响力的雕塑家之一。其标志性作品“小胖人”的形象，不仅是中国当代艺术视觉中具有社会影响力的经典符号，也代表着其非凡的原创力，延续至稀奇艺术的生命之中。
