《羊时代》寄托了艺术家对理想世界的向往：羊天生丽质，是纯洁的象征。生活在“羊时代”的国度里，没有邪恶的渲染，没有卑污的阴霾。人际之间清澈坦荡，内心澄明，不为尘世所扰，亦不为俗念所染。是一个真正回归纯真本性的，真天人合一、和谐共生的，天堂之境。
