The Little Chubby figure, knees slightly bent and elbows raised, strikes the iconic ready stance from Bruce Lee films, declaring his “Chinese” identity with a playful nod. Perched above him, a flamboyantly colored rooster borrows the exaggerated style of Western cartoons, yet its silhouette subtly echoes the sweeping outline of China’s map.
By deftly blending Eastern and Western references, the artist channels a thoughtful critique of contemporary life into the light‑hearted, absurd visual language that is XIQI ART’s hallmark.
